Dear parents, carers and grandparents,
Year 6 will be visiting the National Holocaust Centre and Museum in Laxton as part of our studies into our topic “How does war impact children and their families?” While we are there, we will tour the museum and take part in a writing workshop.
School will contribute towards the cost of the bus but we would like to ask for a contribution of £10 per child towards the museum entry and workshop costs. We think the experience will be memorable for the children and will be very worthwhile.
The visit is on Monday 3rd February 2019. We will leave school at 9.15 and return by 3pm. Your child will require a packed lunch and drink for the day. Please advise us if you would like a school packed lunch if you are entitled to free school meals.
Please pay on School Money by Friday 24th January.
