FAO Parents and Carers of Year 6 Students
Transition to Ashfield School, Year 7, 2020
We appreciate that this transition period is proving particularly stressful for Year 6 students and their parents. Rest assured that we are working incredibly hard to ensure that all students have a positive start to Year 7; we understand that they may be more anxious than usual due to current circumstances, and we will be well prepared for this.
Our aim is to send out full information packs to Parents/Carers by mid-July - this will include information on all aspects of school life including uniform and start dates (where possible).
As soon as we have more information, we will let you know. In the meantime, stay safe, and keep an eye on the Ashfield School website for updates.

Welcome from our Headteacher
I would like to welcome you to our new school website. I hope you find the site informative and easy to use, and enjoy finding out about all the exciting things we get up to in school. Here at Woodland View Primary School , the children, parents, carers and staff are central to our school community. We believe in working in partnership, enabling us to ensure all children to achieve their full potential.
Our clear objective is for the children to be happy, confident and have trust in the school, which you, the parents, must share. We want the children to have access to the possible widest range of opportunities in which they can enjoy success and gain achievement. We hope the children are motivated to work alongside each other and together with a caring and hard working team of staff.
