Dear Parents/Carers
Further to the road works on Barker Street last week the operating company has now been in touch to confirm that they will be carrying out the remainder of the work on the road on Monday, 14th October.
We have been informed that staff and pupils shouldn't have too much trouble accessing the school, and that the operating team have very professional operatives who will assist the staff and pupils. Please could you ensure the following:
- Work will not begin until after the children are in school on Monday morning and so drop off will not be affected. Please bring your child to school as normal.
- There will be no access to school during the school day for vehicles except for emergency services. Pedestrian access will be available.
- All lorries are hoped to be moved by pick up time, however this cannot be guaranteed so please make arrangements to pick up your children on foot and park away from school if you need to drive.
The program is subject to weather conditions; we will keep you up to date with any changes as we hear them.
