18 July 2019 (by Jodie Binch (Jbinch))

Dear Parents, Carers and Grandparents,

Festival instructions: Our Woodlandbury fun day is almost here! On Friday 19th July, we have our Music Festival Fun day on the field 11am-2pm.

  • Children being collected will be on the playground at 10.45 for you to sign out from their teacher. We will not have a playtime or tuck on that day.
  • Festival music, events, stalls and activities will run from 11am-2pm so stay and enjoy the day. A poster will display the running times of events.
  • Wear non-uniform and don’t bring anything else to school except your cash (please bring change) and a water bottle if you wish. Children bringing their own money for lunch and stalls, if they are being looked after by staff, need to have it in a labelled wallet and give it to their teacher.
  • Bring a chair/blanket/umbrella to sit and enjoy the music/talent show.
  • School dinners (jacket potatoes) which have been ordered online, in advance, in the usual way, are available from 12pm-12.30pm from the dining hall. A burger van/donut van/ice-cream van is also available.
  • Toilets are available near the hall and Y1/2 classrooms.
  • Please do not go into school for any other reason.
  • Ensure you have signed and returned the slip for whether you/family member/friend are attending with your child sent on a previous letter.

We will have Aerial Drone filming happening during the event by a fully-insured, DBS checked professional company – Flyover AIS. They will produce a short film for us of our day which we will put on the website for you to see. They do not keep any film footage, nor do they use any images of our children for their profit. Any child not wanting to be identified (highly unlikely as it’s 50m from the air) should wear a cap/hat.

Thank-you

Mrs R Stewart
