Dear Parents, Carers and Grandparents,
Our topics in the summer term of Year 5 will be crime and punishment through the ages and Vikings. We are organising a residential for the 16th – 17th July 2020.
As part of the trip, we have been able to secure an overnight stay at a youth hostel in York. During the trip we will be visiting Jorvik, Clifford’s tower, the National Railway Museum (where we will be taking a ride on a miniature railway), York dungeons or the castle museum (please make a choice on the slip below) and taking a private hire riverboat tour of historic York. The cost of this trip will be £95 per person. All travel, meals (evening meal, breakfast and packed lunch for the Friday), accommodation and entry to the activities is included within this price.
If you would like your child to be part of this experience, please complete the slip below and pay a deposit of £15. Our online system will open for deposits from Friday 28th June and close on Friday, 5th July, the first 40 deposits to be paid will secure their place. Any additional children will be placed on a waiting list.
The remaining balance would need to be paid on the following dates;
£20 – 1/11/19
£20 – 3/2/20
£20 – 2/3/20
£20 – 1/4/20
