On Monday 24th June 2019, pupils moving into Y1 toY6 in September will be meeting their new class teachers. They will be spending the afternoon taking part in different activities, getting to know their teacher in their new classroom.
We would like to invite you to meet your child’s new teacher and so from 2.15pm you are invited to come into school to join in with the activities in your child’s new classroom. You will also have the opportunity to discuss your child’s transition with their new teacher. At 2.45pm, your child will then make their way back to their current classroom to collect their belongings for home time. At this point, we request that you make your way onto the playground or back into Foundation to meet your child as usual. We will issue a letter on the 21st June detailing you child’s new class.
If your child attends All Saints, please collect them from the usual time at All Saints playground.
A letter detailing your child’s new teacher information will be coming nearer the time.
In September, your child’s new teacher will invite you to a welcome evening where they will discuss the upcoming year, topics and trips that your child will be taking part in. You will be informed of the date and time of the meeting when we return to school in September.
