Kingswood

15 March 2019 (by Jodie Binch (Jbinch))

Our exciting visit to Kingswood is fast approaching and is less than 3 weeks away.

Below I have included a few reminders, before our departure on the 27th of March. I will be holding a meeting with the children this week to share with them the exciting activities we will be doing whilst we are Kingswood, as well as any other information they need to know. With this letter is another copy of that all-important packing list. Please note that the children are not required to bring swimwear for this visit. Hopefully, the weather will be favourable to us but it is important to not underestimate the British weather in March! Please remember to pack clothing for all weathers as we will be doing the activities come rain or shine.

  • Please ensure all clothes are labelled as this will mean they are returned to their rightful owner, in the event that they should get lost.
  • Children will need to come to school in non-uniform on the Wednesday 27th March.
  • Children will need to bring a packed lunch on Wednesday the 27th March which we will eat before departing at 12.00.
  • The children will be returning to school at 2.30pm on the Friday, 29th March and will be dismissed at the end of the normal school day.
  • Please ensure that the children bring a suitcase that they are able to carry/manage themselves as our accommodation is on first floor and is some distance from the coach park.
  • The children can bring a maximum of £10 for the shop. The children will be responsible for own money. Please ensure money is in a named purse, wallet or envelope.
  • Please bring ALL medication in a labelled plastic bag to Mr Webster on the day of the departure. Please ensure that no medication is left in your child’s suitcase.
  • Children are not permitted to bring electronic devices including mobiles phones. The staff will contact you in case of emergencies.

Any questions please feel free to ask me.

Kind regards

Mr Webster
