We have been offered 42 places to take children from Years 3 and 4 (in school year 2019-2020) to Whitby and Scarborough.
We will be staying for 2 nights and 3 days in a YHA hostel up at Whitby Abbey overlooking the sea. We have stayed here before and it is a stunning location and gets booked up very quickly in Summer. We will also visit Scarborough Castle, the Alpamare swimming pool, Whitby Abbey, Whitby town, Whitby beach including a boat trip, fish ‘n chips and ice-creams - with a paddle in the sea. The Friday will be spent at Flamingo Land before returning home. I am sure you will agree this is an activity packed trip! Dates for the trip are 8th-10th July 2020. We will work out a payment plan with you but at this time, we need a reply slip and £30 deposit. If you change your mind, this deposit will be refundable only if we secure another child to take your place.
The full cost of the trip is £230 inclusive of all the above activities, accommodation and food. We are very lucky that Mrs Grey has donated the money from the school budget to pay for the 7 staff who are required to accompany this trip.
For your child to be allocated a place, we require the permission slip to be returned on a first come, first served basis. A deposit of £30 will need to be paid to secure your place. Deposits will be taken from Monday 25th March until the closing date of Wednesday 3rd April. All-Saints children to pay £30 to your school office and Woodland View to pay £30 online. If you want a place but are unable to pay a deposit at this time, please let us know to see if we can make an arrangement to suit us all. Those who are not given a place will be put on a waiting list.
