Increase in School Dinners10 September 2020 (by Jodie Binch (Jbinch)) |
9th September 2020
Dear Parents / Carers
Notification of school meals price increase
I am writing to inform you that, after careful consideration from Nottingham City Council who provide our school meals, we are having to implement an increase in the price with effect from 21st September this year.
The cost increase means that meals will rise from £2.20 to £2.30 per day, £11.50 per week. Healthy school meals, cooked on the premises, are available each day using locally sourced fresh produce wherever possible.
We understand that this may cause some difficulties, please contact our school office if this is the case, and we will help either to check if you might be eligible for free school meals. All queries will be dealt with sensitively and confidentially, we will do all we can to support you.
The meal increase will be reflected on the SchoolMoney system from 21st September 2020.
Best wishes
Ruby Grey
