Dear parent/Carer
Government guidance states that children may bring a small bag into school each day, as you have adhered to our request to leave PE bags within school, we have decided to change our risk assessment saying that the small bag your child can bring can be a lunch bag.
Therefore, from Wednesday, 9th September, your children will now be able to bring their lunchboxes into school. Please ensure that the lunch boxes are labelled with your child’s name and are wipe able.
Children should take their lunchbox home at the end of the school day for cleaning. If you wish to continue sending lunch in a disposable bag, this is absolutely fine.
Please only send water in your children’s bottles as they have to be kept on desks. We have had a child spill a drink, which has stained and ruined their school books and work.
