Dear all

Firstly, I wanted to say a huge thank you to all of our parents who have worked so hard during this unprecedented time home-schooling their children and trying to juggle jobs and other family commitments. We at school, acknowledge that this has been a difficult time and that you and your families have done a fantastic job of supporting us and your children. As we look to the future, I wanted you to be aware that we are expecting a full return to school for all children from September, in line with Government guidelines, and that we are looking forward to a return to something nearer to normality.

In order to be able to ensure that our children have a less anxiety-ridden time before returning to school, we will be taking our last two days of term as our inset days so that we can update risk assessments and make the school building ready for our new way of working. We will then be filming the new classroom and school layouts and putting these on our website so that over the holiday, your child can watch them to hopefully ease any fears.

Therefore, our last day of school this academic year will be Wednesday 22^nd July.

Have a wonderful summer holiday, we will send out more information about the reopening of school to all pupils during August. This will be through our usual methods, please download our free app if you can.
