PANTOMIME TRIP

MONDAY, 29TH NOVEMBER

Dear Parents/Carers,

All children who are in school on Monday will attend the whole school pantomime trip to Mansfield Palace Theatre. Children MUST wear school uniform.

Please ensure your child brings a packed lunch in a paper bag or carrier bag, that can be

disposed of easily. We are unable to leave belongings on the buses and would prefer to take none into the theatre. Children can take a water bottle but DO NOT need snacks. They will  receive a treat during the interval of the pantomime.

Children will eat lunch in school and we will leave for the buses at 1pm.

There are 7 buses in total.

Buses 1 - 4 with KS1 children, Badgers and Foxes, Dragonflies and Kingfishers will leave from

Brierley Forest Golf Club and Buses 5 - 7 with KS2 children will leave from Back Lane.

We will arrive at the theatre at approximately 1.30pm to be seated for the 2.00pm showing.

The show will finish at 4.30pm. Children will return to the same buses they arrived on for 4.45pm and we should be back home between 5.00 - 5.30 pm.

Upon leaving the theatre we will text to let you know that each bus has left the venue and is returning to the same point they were picked up from. This will ensure you know when to arrive to pick up your child.

ALL children must be collected from Brierley Forest Golf Club or Back Lane. Children will NOT be allowed to walk home alone. Please ensure you have arrangements in place for the collection of your child/ren and they are aware of these arrangements.

We aim to get the younger children back to their designated collection points first, giving parents time to walk up Barker Street to Back Lane to collect older children.
