School Uniform Reminder

Dear parents and carers,

We have largely turned a blind eye to the wearing of non-uniform this year; it’s been a difficult year with shops closed and periods of time when most children couldn’t be at school.

However, from September we are re-establishing a strict uniform policy- in line with most other schools in the Ashfield district. Children will be expected to wear Woodland View School Uniform which is:

  • A purple jumper or cardigan
  • A white shirt or white polo shirt
  • Grey trousers or grey skirt or pinafore
  • If tights are worn, they should be black, grey, navy, purple or white.
  • Black school shoes or boots.

It is not acceptable to wear hoodies or jumpers with other logos on and leggings- in any pattern or colour- are also unacceptable. It is also not acceptable to wear trainers to school.

School uniform can be bought relatively cheaply from Asda or from the online store that stocks our uniform. Year 6 will be given school ties (for free) in September.

Thank you for your support with this.

Best wishes,

Mrs Grey.
