Dear Parents/Carers,

We have had a rise in children being collected before their school day finishes for various reasons.

Children being late for school and leaving early, has a serious impact on their learning day. Therefore we politely request that, when possible, medical appointments are made outside of school hours.

We appreciate that this is not always possible to do but in future, we will need proof of medical                                      appointments for any children who need to leave early from school.

Please be aware that removing your child from school early can result in low attendance, which can also lead to a fine.
