Woodland View Wish Tree

4 December 2020 (by Jodie Binch (Jbinch))

Dear all

Through discussion with a parent, Mrs Buckley, and numerous members of staff, we would like to complete our wish tree differently this year.

We would like to do Christmas packages for families or members of our community who have received less income than usual through the Covid 19 pandemic.

Families or individuals who, for instance, have been furloughed or been made redundant recently would be eligible.

If you or someone you know would benefit from a Christmas package, please email us their name and any details such as household members, to office@woodlandview.notts.sch.uk or call the office on 01623 487087.

If you would like to donate to the packages, we would like to collect

  • Non-perishable Christmas/celebration type food e.g. chocolates, hot chocolate, share bags of crisps
  • Toys for children aged 1 – 16 years
  • Pamper products e.g. face masks, deodorant sets, unused make up
  • Activities such as unused games/colouring
  • Unused cuddly toys

A trug will be available on school grounds from Monday morning until Friday afternoon for any donations so that they can be quarantined ready for delivery the following week.

Many thanks in advance for your support
